If you need a resource monitor with more capabilities than ‘top’ and ‘htop’, you can try bpytop.

Installation

bpytop is available on some systems (Debian, Arch). It was previously known as BashTOP and its next version will be known as btop (based on C++). bpytop is based on Python.

Usage

bpytop can be used with the arrow keys, some keyboard letters, + and - keys, and the Enter key. You can check the needed key by looking next to the option or by pressing the option letter that has a grey color.

For example, press up and down arrow keys to select a process, right arrow key to change sort column, + or - to change frequency speed.
