Kali Linux
The most popular penetration testing distribution, based on Debian, with more than 600 tools included.
BlackArch Linux
An Arch Linux-based distribution, with more than 2800 tools on its repository, and compatible with existing Arch Linux installs.
BackBox Linux
This penetration testing system is based on Ubuntu. It comes with the XFCE desktop and includes an “anonymous” mode (with Tor) and some other features.
Gnoppix Linux
Gnoppix is based in Kali Linux (rolling), with the GNOME desktop.
