Eighth part in this series of posts where I show you some really interesting open source projects I’ve found that deserve a look.
If you develop or contribute to a project and you want to see it in the next post of the series, feel free to contact me on social media or email.
Note: some of these projects might be on a Beta/development state, and may crash or work unexpectedly.

Portable Secret
It’s a tool to encrypt and decrypt messages or files using your web browser encription capabilities. It consists of two HTML files and one Javascript file you can upload to a hosting service (you’ll need to access the tool with HTTPS, or go to the already hosted https://mprimi.github.io/portable-secret/creator/).
Access the tool with your web browser. You can encrypt images, files and messages with a password. The tool will create an embedded HTML file with the file/message encrypted (the encryted file will take twice the size of the original file). To decrypt, just open the file with the web browser and put the password.
