cool-retro-term: the coolest retro terminal emulator you will find
Just for fun purposes, you can use a terminal emulator that looks like an old CRT screen from the 80’s.
cool-retro-term, from Swordfish90, can be downloaded as an AppImage (What is an AppImage) and mimics perfectly the look and feel of old Cathode Ray Tube screens.
Installation
Just download the AppImage file from here, make it executable and run it.
Configuration
Do a right-click inside the terminal window to open a context menu where you can change color profiles and effects.
